- Long Connection provides internet device rental services and internet service. We are not a service carrier.
- All customers are required to make an advance payment, before they start using our services.
- The 10% VAT is included in the service fee.
- All customers are responsible for their rental devices. In case the device is lost or damaged, the customer will pay a 15,000 JPY penalty per device. 7 business days are required in the case of reissuing a SIM card/pocket WIFI.
- The service provided is for Japanese domestic use only and cannot be used outside of Japan. In cases where we find our service has been used outside of Japan, customers will be responsible for an additional fee for roaming services.
- In case the device is lost or damaged, please contact us for service suspension.
- Once the rental device or SIM card are delivered to the customer, the customer is responsible for the service fee.
- In cases of illegal use of any kind, such as illegal downloading, copy rights violations, or exploitation by using our internet service, Long Connection holds the right to suspend or cancel the service without advance notice.
- After the rental term comes to and end, the rental devices or SIM cards, must be returned to Long Connection within 3 days.
In cases where the rental devices or SIM cards are not returned to us within the designated time period,
a minimum extended rental period of 2 weeks will automatically be charged without advance notice.
Changes
If you want to make any changes to your reservation such as:
- A change in the pickup location
- A rental period change (shorter or longer)
- Rental start date change
Please contact us 5 days prior to your initial starting date.
An additional fee of 1,000 JPY may be charged to any contract made less than 5 days prior to the rental start date.
Extension
If you would like to continue using the same device, you can contact us to extend the rental period.
Cancelation and Refund Policy:
Any cancelation fees are automatically charged to the registered credit card according to the cancellation policy below (including no-shows).
- A full refund with a cancellation that was made 7 days prior to the rental starting date.
- A 70%refund of the rental fee for any cancellation made between 1-6 days prior to the rental starting date.
- No refund given for any cancellation made on the start date, including no-shows.
